I accidentally did a spot of more than light off-roading in the Road Sofa this morning. I thought the road was dirt, but it turned into large rocks and rock formations. Somehow, I didn’t scrape or break anything. Built Ford Tough! James May looking into a shotgun for your time, because you have to learn gun safety somehow.

Bloody hell. The first lesson I had before being allowed to hold a gun was ‘don’t point your weapon at anyone you don’t intend to shoot’.

Same when I was in Army Cadets. Safety always on unless you are firing on a live range.

My dad took it a step further and said “don’t point a gun at anything you’re not going to kill.” Really sticks with a seven-year-old. Also “it’s always loaded."
